摘要
Nowadays, photovoltaic solar energy is the most clean energy used worldwide with the drop of price and technology development. Although the weather conditions of the sites especially those in regions with arid climate affect the efficiency of the PV system. Dust was the major parameter proven to have a direct impact on PV modules in different studies. To overcome this deficiency, an experiment has been con- ducted in Benguerir, mid-south of Morocco, to investigate the effect of dust deposition on a glass cover of a PV module for different tilt angle. The results indicate that for a fixed tilt angle the transmittance loss has reached 14% in the presence of rainy days during two weeks of exposition. However, it reach 18.5% for sample installed on tracking system after one week of exposition and also with presence of rainy day. The difference between the fixed and the tracking system is the horizontally stow position of the tracking system during the non-sunshine hours. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
