摘要
This The COVID19 pandemic forced higher education institutions to implement remote emergency education, testing their preparedness to deliver education based on virtual technologies. Prior to the crisis, these institutions made only limited and marginal use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for learning, a situation that strongly contrasted with the penetration of these technologies in students. Young people have shown a favourable attitude to the use of technologies in the educational field, although their adoption and use seems to be marked by several factors. This study applied to a sample of 323 first-year students from a Chilean university explores the relationships between attitudes towards ICT and adaptation to remote emergency classes in virtual format. The results indicate that gender, access conditions and attitudes towards ICTs influence this adaptation.
