摘要：

Brazilian organizations have been investing heavily in mobile and wireless information technologies for the improvement of their organizational processes. The article explores such technologies as well as the mobile enterprise phenomenon. The challenges presented by enterprise mobility for information and knowledge management in organizational environments are discussed. A research agenda on the subject under the perspective of information science is suggested.
