摘要
A new type of implantable middle ear hearing aid, which consists of external loop coil, a small magnet and simple external device, is proposed. The internal device of the new type consists of only a small magnet. The external device of the proposed type doesn't have to be positioned behind ear or ear canal. And it is excellent in cosmetic sides, because external device of it can be hidden in upper garment and collar of clothes. Also, purposely this type doesn't need to be small on the size of battery. It can be bigger than conventional type, which means it has longer battery life. Therefore, battery doesn't need to change very frequently. The surgical operation of this type is easier than conventional type. Only a small magnet is transplanted in the middle ear. The gap calibration of transducer doesn't to be necessary but, conventional implantable middle ear hearing aid must have. We investigate the performance of proposed implantable middle ear hearing aid. We investigate the performance of proposed implantable middle ear hearing aid. And we analyze that proposed type is appropriate to mild and severe hearing impaired person and the result of experiment showed the accuracy of our analysis.
