Experimental study of marble constitutive properties under uniaxial impact

摘要
This paper presents the impact constitutive relationships of series tests on marble samples using split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB). It is found that the stress-strain curves of marble generally have three stages. The first stage goes up along an approximate straight line with positive slope, and usually the higher the strain rate is, the larger the slope of line is. The second stage represents the idea plastic character of marble after being stricken. The third stage goes down along an approximate straight line with negative slop, and is not capable of rebound.
