摘要：

In the plankton from the south-western part of the Indian Ocean Arietellus indicus, A. plumifer, A. setosus and A. simplex are recorded. Some morphological details, useful for the species identification, are redescribed. A. indicus male is described. Remarks on taxonomy and distribution of the species are given.
