Serial network inference in cell cycle regulation on yeast

摘要
Recently we developed a procedure of the graphical chain modeling for inference of the network from expression profiles between the different stages. according to natural order. In this stud's this procedure was applied to 796 gene expression profiles of complete cell-cycle related gene set in yeast, which were experimentally identified to be transcribed in natural order of five cell-cycle phases, G1, S, SG2, G2M, and MG1. These phases were well characterized by the inferred network., especially by the inferred network within The same phase. In G1 and S phase. almost genes were related among them, even though the limited genes were related with each other in the other phases. Furthermore. the inferred network indicates that some genes in each phases have long-distance regulation through the cell cycle, however the mainly regulatory system in cell cycle was step by step. The approach by graphical Chain modeling provides us the comprehensive analysis for gene regulatory systems through the different stages.
