摘要
Isostatically pressed dense reaction-sintered zirconia-mullite composites were prepared from zircon flour and reactive alumina with different proportions of MgO and CaO additives. The pressed compacts were sintered at elevated temperatures with variable soaking times. Development of different phases and microstructures of the sintered compacts were analyzed to assess the relative influence of the additives on the formation of the zirconia-mullite.
