Companies have historically prepared safe work procedures to meet regulatory requirements. These regulations have been written over a long period of time, without regard for creating a consistent, integrated system. Resulting documentation and approach was often fragmented with no consideration of profitability issues. A fully integrated Safe Work Permit Procedure system is discussed.
