摘要
A hybrid local/non-local thermomechanical model is developed by the Morphing method to simulate cracking under different temperature increments. In the proposed hybrid model, peridynamics as a non-local model is applied to domains where fractures may occur and classical continuum mechanics as a local model is applied to the rest domains of the structure to reduce computational cost and impose boundary conditions. Two models are coupled by the Morphing method in coupling domains. The numerical method has been introduced to implement this model that enables crack initiation and propagation. The error of this hybrid model caused by temperature increment in the coupling domains is discussed by analyzing the ghost force in detail. Accuracy and validity of the proposed model have been proved by illustrating two-dimensional numerical examples with or without cracking.
