Third of all, in order to provide relevant data concerning the role, the importance and the influences brought by intellectual capital on companies' performance, the following research methods were used: the questioner, the interview and the focus group. Three Romanian companies were selected for the analysis, in order to provide relevant and reliable information concerning the role and the importance of intellectual capital. In total, a number of 150 individuals offered answers to the questioners prepared. Moreover, from these three Romanian companies, a total number of 15 individuals were interviewed. Furthermore, the results obtained both from the questioner as well as from the interviews sessions were presented and brought into discussion with the help of a focus group, a moment in which where debated the main findings and were also added new ones.
