摘要
Power allocation is a key issue in multicast Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. The problem of power allocation in multicast OFDM system is investigated in this paper to maximize the multicast rate under the total power constrain, while the channel coding is implemented with all subcarriers. For the purpose to reduce the considerable amount of the uplink channel state feedback information, the limited feedback scheme is proposed. In the proposed scheme, each user should only feedbacks the channel state information of the worst several subcarriers. Then, based on this limited feedback scheme, one power allocation algorithm is proposed. Simulation results show that when users feedback the worst 25% subcarriers, the proposed limited feedback scheme and power allocation algorithm achieve performance comparable to the full feedback scheme while efficiently reducing the feedback load by 75%.
