摘要：

The purpose of this study was to understand the influence of the Multiprofessional Health Residence (RMS) of a Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the south of Brazil in the formation of the concept of health and the performance of Physical Education professionals in public health by residents in formation. A qualitative approach was carried out, with semi-structured interviews as a technique for collecting data, followed by thematic analysis. A difference in health conceptions prior to and after admission to RMS was perceived, as well as in the interpretations of the professional practice in public health by residents in training.
