摘要
Many of the insights described in this review have been driven by the development of new technologies and instrumentation, such as PCR, recombinant DNA techniques; DNA sequencing, bioinformatics and so on. Conventional detection and differentiation of the different pathogens affecting poultry is perceived as slow, laborious and requirement on undesirable use of in vivo techniques. With the advent of the recent molecular techniques, the diagnosis of the diseases have become more reliable and authentic. The new generation vaccines for the various poultry diseases, are in the experimental stages and will be available sooner or later for use in commercial poultry flocks. The scientific advances in diagnosis and vaccinology of avian diseases will result in a revolutionary improvement in the health management of Indian Poultry Industry. These scientific advances will provide innovative solution to the health problems of the poultry flocks with a promising future.
