The special issue IEEE Transactions On Pattern Analysis And Machine Intelligence has a special section dedicated to AutoML. This special section is formed by 15 articles of outstanding quality that together comprise a snapshot of cutting edge AutoML research. The special section is a compilation of outstanding contributions on AutoML. The compilation is representative of the trends and recent progress in the field.
