A systems approach for modelling spectral characteristics of insulation

摘要
A novel and useful way of modelling the change in spectral characteristics of loss and polarization of the insulation under the influence of an environmental parameter, by using a systems approach is presented. Ageing of the insulation is considered as the environmental parameter bringing about a change in the spectral characteristics. The philosophy is illustrated by modelling the experimental results obtained for epoxy bonded mica tape aged under electrical stress.
