Numerical simulation of flowing gas discharge and electroionized CO lasers

摘要
A mathematical model for gas discharge CO lasers includes vibrational kinetics of CO and N-2 molecular species as,well as the equation for electron energy distribution function and radiative gas dynamic equations. The effective method for numerical simulation of powerful CO lasers has been developed. The method allows, to calculate laser efficiency, spectrum of CO laser, intensities of separate lines and other important laser characteristics. The results of computation are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental ones.
