In this paper using KAM theory we investigate the stability nature of the zero equilibrium of the system of two nonlinear difference equations [GRAPHICS] where a(i),b(i),c(i), i = 1,2 are real constants and f: R --> R is a C-infinity function. (C) 1999 Academic Press.
