摘要
The use of a cylindrical electrode placed in the flow of weakly ionized as an electrical probe to study the flow parameters is discussed. It is assumed that the plasma is weakly ionized, chemical reactions are frozen, the external magnetic field is constant, and the neutral component dynamics is governed by the Euler equations in formulating the mathematical model of the problem. The system dynamics is calculated using the Davydov particle-in-cell method. The condensation of the ion streamlines at the side of the cylinder is also observed, which can lead to the appearance of one more local maximum of the ion current density. The nonmonotonic ion current density distribution along the cylinder contour is possible only for certain combinations of the characteristic parameters of the problem.
