摘要
The Mn(II) and Ce(III) ions role on the iodine production in the systems: {I-, IO3-, H+}, and {IO3-, H2O2, H+} with reference to the {IO3-,Men+, H2O2, MA, H+} was investigated. We proved experimentally the formation of the metal-iodate complex ions, [MnIO3](+), [CeIO3](2+), that represent the key intermediates in the hydrogen peroxide decomposition reaction with iodine production.
