What can a body do? Narcissism, virtualities and self-construction

In this analysis, through a bibliographic review, it is intended to investigate possible paths taken for the subjective construction of the body by the subjects when in social interactions mediated by virtuality, envisioning in what sense this subjectivity unfolds as an expression of a society with narcissistic values. The dialectic point of view proposed by Reich (1977) about interactions between man and society is adopted as a starting point for understanding. In this sense, there is an attempt to reconstitute an eminently narcissistic social scenario (LARSCH, 1983) and strongly crossed by techniques, such as virtuality (RANGEL and CALIMAN, 2014), whose reminiscences end up influencing the way people feel and build their own bodies for themselves (FAVRE, 2007). The construction of oneself and one's own bodies through such a narcissistic tendency can be overcome through the agency of encounters and affection through instruments of virtuality.
