摘要
The effectiveness of any gasket material to create and retain a static seal may be determined by many factors, such as resistance to the bolt load, flange finish, media, pressure, temperature, compressibility and environmental conditions. Moreover, it is important to consider the shelf life of the gasket. This is because gaskets often remain in storage for a long time before being installed. This paper presents a method to predict compressed non-asbestos gasket lifetime using an accelerated aging method, based on the compressibility property
