Using community-based research projects to teach research methods

In this article, eve describe the elements comprising a community-based research project conducted as part of an undergraduate research methods course and the project's positive impact on student learning. A community-based project provides a unique opportunity for students to learn the methodology of psychology, directly experience the research process, and make a significant societal contribution.
