摘要
What does it mean to educate in human rights today? For whom is it relevant that this education exists? This article refer to tensions between the expectation of human rights education that prevailed in the initial context of its transnational formulation and that which can be postulated today. This presents challenges for teaching about freedom, solidarity and plural identities in equal dignity, like topics of criticism and reorientation of contemporary society. The right to learn human rights also includes the right to maintain suspicious about the use of this legal-political category as an emancipatory tool or instrument of domination. Affirming this implies to teachers a permanent cooperative learning position, far from any rigid certainty, when evaluating its power to educate critical, creative and committed individuals, willing to participate in the construction of a collective project for the entire species.
