摘要
An analysis has been carried out on flow, heat, and mass transfer characteristics of steady two-dimensional stagnation-point flow of an electrically conducting micropolar fluid over a stretching sheet embedded in a non-Darcian porous medium with uniform magnetic and electric fields. A prescribed power-law surface temperature (PST) type of boundary heating is considered. The governing system of partial differential equations is first transformed into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations using similarity transformation. The transformed nonlinear coupled differential equations are linearized by Newton's linearization method, which are then solved very efficiently by the finite-difference method. The effects of various physical parameters on velocity, temperature, and concentration distributions and on the local skin-friction coefficient, local Nusselt number, and local Sherwood number are presented graphically and in tabular form.
