摘要
A high resolution (sigma < 3 mu m) beam telescope based on pixel sensors is being developed within the EUDET collaboration, a coordinated detector R&D programme for a future international linear collider. The telescope consists of six sensor planes based on monolithic active pixels and can be operated inside a solenoidal magnetic field of up to 1.2 T. A general purpose cooling, positioning and readout infrastructure is available. In summer 2007 the pixel telescope has been installed and commissioned at the 6 GeV electron beam line at DESY in Hamburg and them moved to the high energy hadron facility at CERN. In this presentation the first results of this demonstrator telescope will be summarised.
