摘要：

We prove new oscillation and non-oscillation theorems for the second-order linear difference equation Delta(2)x(n+1) + p(n)x(n) = 0, where {p(n)}(n=1)(infinity) is a real sequence with p(n) >= 0. These results are extensions of earlier results of Zhang and Zhou [Comput. Math. Appl. 39 (2000) 1 - 7]. (c) 2005 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
