摘要
With the development of environmental protection and the integration of various materials, multifunctional ceramics have caught significant attention. In this paper, KNNS-xDy ((K0.48Na0.52) (Nb0.95Sb0.05) O-3-xDy(2)O(3)) ceramics with luminescent and piezoelectric properties were synthesized via conventional high-temperature solid-state method. It was found that the KNNS ceramics doped with the content of 0.4 %Dy had the optimal comprehensive properties and possessed typical characteristics of relaxant ferroelectrics. Particularly, a special thermal quenching phenomenon appeared in the KNNS-0.4 %Dy ceramics and the emission intensity increased by about 15 % after the sample was heated from room temperature up to 75 degrees C. The results showed that the luminescence properties of ferroelectric materials were closely related to the phase structure. The influence of ferroelectric structure on luminescence intensity of materials will be a new research approach in the future.
