摘要
Variability of surface waves and the atmospheric near-surface layer was investigated over various ocean areas (above submarine rises, at depths "dumping", etc.). It is found out that the bottom topography features transforming a field of currents vary surface waves in a wide frequency range. Surface wave transformation results in variability of the mesoscale component of meteorological fields in the atmospheric near-surface layer. Variations of the average wind velocity associated with variations of the wave field were calculated within the quasi-linear model using experimental data. Theoretical calculations are in good agreement with observations.
