On modelling advertisement in Cournot duopoly

摘要
A system of two firms is studied following Puu's model of Cournot duopoly. Their competing advertisements are modelled. Chaos is observed if the advertisement's parameters of both firms are close to each other. Chaos control formulae are given to control the chaos due to advertisements. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
