Interactive analysis of spatial data using a desktop GIS

摘要：
The increasing availability of geographic data and the emergence of true desktop geographic information systems, have created demands for new techniques for spatial data analysis. In this paper I describe how to develop spatial analysis tools for vector data within a commercial desktop GIS product. At the moment Moran's I, Geary's c, the Moran scattergram plus the G(i)- and G(i)*-statistics are included. The user friendly GUI of ArcView and the dynamic linkages between different windows creates a usefull base for the application development.
