摘要
Nowadays, due to increased energy demand, the use of alternative energy sources becomes one of the most important perspectives for the future development of this sector and the energetic independence. Anaerobic digestion is a renewable energy technology, that generate biogas which can be used to produce electricity, heat or as transportation fuel. The present paper underlines the possibility of using residual waters from a treatment plant facility located in Timisoara-Romania to produce biogas in combination with different substrates / inoculums. The laboratory experiments were performed in biodigesters with a total volume of 6 1, operated in batch mode and mesophilic conditions. The anaerobic digestion potential of different mix substrates was tested in terms of biogas quality and quantity. The results indicate that the digestion performances of residual waters increased when they are combined with other wastes. These materials will be further tested at pilot scale in order to establish their potential for further usage. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
