摘要
Giving the fact that Hg2+ is closely related to health and disease, a new fluorescent probe, 4-methylcoumarin-7-oxythioformate (L), was designed and synthesized for the detection of Hg2+ in 100% aqueous solutions. The free L displayed extremely weak fluorescence emission when excited at 325 nm, and a fluorescence emission band centered at 450 nm obviously emerged when Hg2+ was added, with the fluorescence color changing from colorless to blue in 100% aqueous solutions. Additionally, L exhibited the features of high selectivity, high sensitivity and fast response towards Hg2+. More importantly, we also explored the practical application of detecting Hg2+ by test strips, which provided a simple and convenient method for detecting Hg2+.
