Effect of Al2O3 additive on the dielectric properties of PbO-SrO-Na2O-Nb2O5-SiO2 glass-ceramic

摘要
The effect of Al2O3 addition on dielectric properties of PbO-SrO-Na2O-Nb2O5-SiO2 glass-ceramic has been investigated. DTA data indicated that the crystallization temperature of niobate ferroelectric phases can be decreased by adding a proper content of Al2O3. The XRD analysis method demonstrated that Al3+ remained in the glass phase for no new phase appeared when Al2O3 was added to the precursor. The results showed that the dielectric properties of the niobate glass-ceramic were greatly influenced by Al2O3, and the highest dielectric constant (492) and lowest dielectric loss (0.007) were got by adding 1 mol% Al2O3, when the content of Al2O3 exceeded 1 mol%, the dielectric constant had a slight decrease and the dielectric loss increased.
