Testing research on the treatment of dye wastewater by electro-fenton reagent

摘要
This study is performed to investigate the treatment of acid chrome blue K wastewater by electro-Fenton reagent. In the electrolytic cell both anode and cathode are graphite.H2O2 is produced in situ by electrochemical reduction of O-2 on the graphite cathode In the presence of Fe2+ H2O2 can generate (OH)-O-., a strong oxidant, which can decolor and degrade the acid chrome blue dye K. After 40min of electrolysis under the optimum operation condition,the decolorization and COD removal rate of wastewater are 86.4% and 73.5% respectively. When the electrolysis time increases to 2h, the decolorization and COD removal rate rise to 98.2% and 84.7% in response.
