摘要
A new effervescent atomized water mist fire protection system was developed with combination the characters of water mist and effervescent atomization, and the emphasis is the designing and producing of the effervescent atomized nozzle. The droplet size produced by the nozzle was measured by laser Doppler particle analyzer. And a series of gasoline pool fire suppression experiments were performed using the system. The fire extinguishment time, flame shape, temperature and radiation heat flux of the flame wave measured.
