摘要
Authors evaluated response of blood flow in digital arteries to nicotine among habitual smokers with Raynaud's Phenomenon using a high-frequency pulsed Doppler (20MHz). In the group of smokers with Raynaud's disease authors observed significant rise in pulsatility index values (p. < 0.001) for PI, a significant decrease in average blood flow (p. < 0.005), and a significant rise in resistance index values (p. < 0.0001). The results in group of healthy habitual smokers for the PI, Vav and RI values were not significant (P. = NS). The data was analysed using Student's test for paired values. Results indicate, that the response to cigarette smoking among habitual smokers with RP is significantly higher in comparison to healthy habitual smokers.
