摘要
This paper formulates and solves the mathematical model of optimization for the unit commitment of Economic Dispatch hydrothermal system with CO2 Emissions Constraints, regardless of the transmission network. In this proposal, the optimization model considers an objective function associated with minimization of the cost of electricity subject to technical and environmental constraints. This problem is solved by mixed integer linear programming, obtaining the assignment of thermal units generating capacity to supply the demand of the electrical system for a period of 24 hours, the cost of power generation and emissions dioxide carbon based fuel for thermal generation units involved. Applications on a test system show that the mathematical model of optimization is able to perform satisfactorily the dispatch of electricity, reducing CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.
