摘要
Plasmonic photocatalyst: Anchoring the dye [Ru(bpy)3] 2+ (bpy=2,2-bipyridine) on the surface of Ag nanoparticles coated with a thin SiO2 layer (see picture) afforded a photocatalyst whose phosphorescence emission and photoinduced oxidation activity in the selective liquid-phase oxidation of styrene are efficiently enhanced through interaction with the localized surface plasmon resonance of the core Ag nanoparticles. © 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
