摘要
La-139-NQR measurement has been made in a superconductor La3Ir2Ge2. The spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T-1, measured in the normal state is proportional to the temperature T, indicating that La3Ir2Ge2, is a simple metal. In the superconducting state, a small coherence peak in 1/T-1 appears just below the superconducting transition temperature T-c = 4.7 K and 1/T-1 decreases exponentially well below T, with decreasing temperatures. It is concluded that La3Ir7Ge2 is a BCS superconductor with an energy gap 2 Delta(0)/k(B)T(c) = 3.52. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
