摘要
Various attempts are made to encounter heat transfer characteristics of Powell-Eyring fluid model by using different ways but as yet few are reported with accuracy through Lie group analysis. Especially the involvement of both mechanisms that is heat and mass transfer are not identified by way of Lie symmetry method. Therefore, in this article a two dimensional Powell-Eyring fluid flow along with heat and mass transfer effects towards a semi-infinite porous plate is assumed. To trace out the solution we have entertained Lie symmetry analysis rather than to decide on so-called similarity transformation from existing literature. The foremost partial differential equations are transmuted into a system of ordinary differential equations via scaling group of transformation structured through Lie group approach. These equations are solved numerically by applying the shooting method. The effects of various physical parameters on fluid velocity, temperature and the concentration are reported. The skin friction coefficient, local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are investigated and deliberated by way of tabular structure. The foremost objective of present study is to offer sufficient review detail subject to Lie group analysis in the field of fluid science to encountered heat and mass transfer effects simultaneously.
