Experimental studies of phase equilibria in mixtures relevant for the description of natural gases

In the temperature range from 100 to 270 K and at pressures up to 10 MPa, pT rhox-measurements of phase equilibria in mixtures containing nitrogen, methane, ethane and helium are currently made in our laboratory. For the binary systems nitrogen-ethane and methane-ethane experimental results from a VLE apparatus are shown. In addition to this VLE apparatus, a new apparatus for the measurement of VLLE is presented which provides data for up to three equilibrium phases including all saturation densities.
