Medical Data Mining Using Different Classification and Clustering Techniques: A Critical Survey

One of the applications of data mining is disease diagnosis for this purpose one needs medical dataset to identify hidden patterns and finally extracts useful knowledge from medical database. Recently, researchers have used different classification and clustering algorithms for diagnosing diseases. This paper provides survey on two different complex diseases which includes the heart disease and Cancer disease, paper critically observed the existing literature work to find out significant knowledge in this area and summarized different approaches used in disease diagnosing, further discussed about the tools available for processing and classification of data.
