摘要
3DMA can improve evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of knee PFI, intra-articular knee injuries (eg, multiligament, condylar, meniscus), and anterior knee pain, because quantitative assessment of the knee improves the understanding of the biomechanical mechanisms. The current body of literature focuses on biomechanical characteristics of certain knee injuries performed primarily in adults. Because of the gaps in the literature, 3DMA is not optimally used in improving knee injury outcomes, leaving much to be desired. Future research investigating knee injuries should focus on identifying risk factors, assessing the effectiveness of surgical and nonsurgical interventions, and developing return to sport/rehabilitation protocols.
