摘要
Flavonoids are a phytochemical substance found in a variety of plants, fruits, vegetables, and leaves that contain significant pharmacological activities such as anti-cancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and be beneficial in treating several disorders. The aim of the present study is the anti-inflammatory activity of the ethyl acetate fraction obtained from the fresh flowers of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Linn. double yellow flowers with red color at the center was evaluated by In vitro hypotonicity induced RBC membrane stabilization of red blood cells. The effect of inflammation condition was studied on erythrocytes exposed to the hypotonic solution. The ethyl acetate fraction was found to show membrane stabilizing activity, optimum at 100 mu g.
