摘要：
In the title compound, [Cu(C2H6N5)(2)] center dot 2H(2)O, the Cu2+ cation, lying at a centre of symmetry, is coordinated by four N atoms from two bidenate ligands, forming a square-planar complex. The deprotonation of the ligand causes an increase in pi-conjugation. Hydrogen bonds between solvent water and the complex help to stabilize the three-dimensional network structure.
