Improved Rotor Position Estimation for IPMSM Drives in Flux-Weakening-based Optimized Synchronous Modulation

摘要
When the IPMSM traction system works in the flux-weakening (FW) area with optimized synchronous modulation, the motor parameters mismatch and current-loop bandwidth limitation will cause a large position estimation error, which reduces the sensorless FW control performance. Based on dq-axis sliding mode observer (SMO), the influence of above two factors is analyzed, and the mismatch influence of d-axis inductance is more significant. Then, a parameter error compensation and fundamental current observer is proposed to improve the sensorless FW control performance in SHEPWM. Finally, the effectiveness is verified by a 3.7kW IPMWM platform.
