摘要
Recent years, the wireless mobile communication technology develops rapidly, results in wireless information explosion. The network infrastructure is more and more complicate. It is inefficient and expansive to use the traditional operation and management methods which mainly relies on humans in the future wireless networks. It is promising to make the network self-operation, self-configuration, self-management. Fortunately, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) technique is a promising way to realize the radio network automation. In this paper, we give a general description of the state-of-the-art of the wireless communication systems and the need for intelligence functionalities. Then, we investigate the recent advances on the application of artificial intelligence technique in wireless communication domains. We believe that AI-empowered future network will accelerate the development of the ICT industry.
