摘要
Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) filter is an interesting technique developed for band- pass filter due to its features of having low insertion loss, high quality factor and high power handling capability. In order to fulfill market demand for compact size applications, half- mode SIW filter (HMSIW) has attracted research popularity recently. HMSIW filter has a size reduction of approximately 50% more compact than a regular SIW filter. In this paper, a new 4th order S band cross- coupled HMSIW is designed and demonstrated. The filter has a center frequency of 2.9 GHz, fractional bandwidth FBW of 26 %, and pass- band width of 750 MHz. The filter exhibits two transmission zeros on the right side of the passband. The measured results show reasonable agreement with the simulation results.
