Multi-agent, ontology and OWL applied in collaborative product design

摘要
In order to achieve knowledge sharing, exchange, reuse, and integration in collaborative product design, this paper, a method to build collaborative design environment is proposed by combining multi-agent technology, ontology and OWL. Multi-agent technology being used for collaborative design makes collaborative design system possess the advantages of multi-agent system; Ontology being used for knowledge representation of collaborative design can extend capabilities of knowledge sharing; OWL being used for knowledge description of collaborative design can resolve semantic interoperation of knowledge.
